Double surprise?
1.) We did not know of this “Arugam Bay” brand exists
2.) It was totally unexpected to spot this in an IDP camp

    If they are indeed “Arugam Bay” (branded) products, we suggest that you take the broken items straight back to the official “Arugam Bay” shop.
    That is at 32 Ward Place, above “Coco Veranda”.
    That’s near Odel.

    Basically, there is no real Arugam Bay connection. But this is the outlet and they are the manufacturers.
    It’s best to make them aware of quality control and manufacturing problems!

    I bought a pair of sandles at fashionbug 2013-12-20 and I wore only once it broke.the cost were 1750.00 now what to do.

    i bought a pair last week from cotton collection . it broke at the strap, both slippers, a tear rather. cotton collection refused to replace them. spent 1750 rs. please advice how to get them replaced.

    We didn’t know this and were truly surprised.
    However, I hasten to add:
    The “Arugam Bay” flops did not belong to one of the IDP’s, but to a fellow visitor and good friend who came to the camp to deliver relief goods.
    It is amazing that remote little “Arugam” has progressed into a brand name!

    Arugam Bay is a new brand luanched early this year. It was launched in Bangalore and now laucnhed in Sri Lanka. The beautiful thongs are available at ODEL, Cotton Collection and Paradise Road.
