    coming back, most reluctantly. There is a lot to do besides chill on the beach and a definite area to check out is Kudumbigala. A forest monastery complex that was previously closed off to visitors during the war. We mostly took public transport and chatted with the locals and made enemies with en elephant, the mood was generally upbeat due to the war being over.
